Medicare Advantage Plans with Premiums Starting at $0/Month

You could save money on your healthcare costs with a Medicare Advantage Plan. Give us a call to see if Medicare Advantage is right for you.

Medicare Advantage Why You Should Consider It

Medicare Advantage Plans offer value that Original Medicare doesn’t. Many Medicare Advantage Plans provide vision, dental, hearing aids, prescription drug coverage, and fitness center memberships, which are benefits that are not included in Original Medicare Parts A & B.

While you continue to pay your Medicare Part B premium, your insurer determines your Medicare Advantage Plan’s premium, which can vary and be extremely inexpensive.

Your copayment/coinsurance may be significantly less than if you have Original Medicare, which also does not limit your maximum out-of-pocket expense, meaning your expenses could be limitless. (Medicare Advantage Plans cover services after you have spent your maximum for the year).

Other than being cost-effective, Medicare Advantage Plans also arrange care among your health care providers, including medication therapy management, under one Primary Care Physician (PCP). They combine medical, Part D prescription drug coverage, and added benefits under one plan administrator, which is convenient for your schedule and beneficial to your health.

Medicare Eligibility & Enrollment

If you want to enroll in a Medicare Advantage Plan in Washington, you must first be enrolled in Medicare Part A and Part B, often referred to as Original Medicare.

Original Medicare Eligibility

To be eligible for Original Medicare at age 65, you must meet the following requirements:

  • You must be a U.S. citizen or permanent legal resident who has lived in the U.S. for five continuous years.

  • You or your spouse must have worked long enough to be eligible for Social Security or Railroad Retirement benefits.

  • You or your spouse must be government employees or retirees who have not paid into Social Security but have paid Medicare payroll taxes.

You may also be eligible for Medicare benefits under 65 if:

  • You have been receiving Social Security disability benefits or certain RRB disability benefits for at least 24 months.

  • You have ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, or Lou Gehrig’s disease).

  • You have End-Stage Renal Disease (ESRD), and you or your spouse have paid Social Security taxes for a certain length of time.

Initial Enrollment Period

Your Medicare IEP starts three months before your 65th birthday. It includes the month of your 65th birthday and then continues for another three months after your birthday.
